Watering Cans

This series of watering cans began as an idea to create something that would challenge me formally. I had never tried making something with two handles, and a spout which all compete with each other for visual space. My partner suggested a leather handle, as I have experience with leather, and I was instantly hooked on the idea! The melding of two materials together seemed so natural!

Although these are not perfect, I am excited to see how they progress through the next iteration! The leather handle pivots while the water pours out, and holds firmly using rivets and leather washers.
