Darted Coffee Mug
A section of clay has been removed inside the handle, called a ‘dart’ which leaves a small nook for your fingers. These mugs are perfect for cuddling in the chilly mornings, but I especially love mine to hold cold drinks so my knuckles don’t touch an icy surface.
This mug features botanical and quilting motifs and is fired in a Soda Kiln. In this kiln glaze is sprayed into the ports and deposited onto its surface by the flames. You can read more about soda firing here.
